"Hope is a passion for the possible."
- Søren Kierkegaard
At RandomGood, we believe that to have an impact, stories must be emotionally evocative so that viewers can FEEL the issue. Only then will they care enough to learn about and KNOW the issue, hopefully leading them to DO something that makes a difference.
OUR STORYTELLING VALUES
Ensure our content is based in documented science.
Where appropriate, develop a story-line, science-line, and impact-line for our projects.
Illuminate and reinforce the natural interconnectedness between the health of people, animals, and ecosystems.
Present stories in a balanced way, showing alternative perspectives.
Encourage stories told through the eyes of and in the voice of local communities, Indigenous peoples, women, and under represented communities.
Work collaboratively with our partners to build storytelling skills, rather than just providing funding.
RandomGood produces, or provides funding for, content that educates and activates the "movable middle" regarding habitat, wildlife, and climate disruption, as well as other critical issues.
We are focused on providing facts and knowledge that are based in documented science.
We work strategically with filmmakers and other stakeholders to create awareness of important issues, leading to real impact.
